Legacy c-tree Plus ODBC Driver System DSN Setup Fails with Error 126
Windows changed installation behavior and a file is required to be copied into a new Windows system directory.
This information only applies to our legacy c-tree Plus ODBC driver. Microsoft evidently stopped placing a required ODBC configuration file in the original expected folder starting with Windows 11 24H2. During installation, we place the files CTL3D95.DLL and CTL3DNT.DLL in the Windows System directory, then copy the appropriate one to CTL3D32.DLL.
The required file is to be copied into your C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder. Contact FairCom to see if you're eligible to continue to use this driver and obtain the correct file to copy.
This ODBC driver package hasn't been built or repackaged as it's a no longer supported legacy product and future breaks are expected.
